Learning Lab at USI

Learning Lab at USI

Here’s an example of our immersive virtual tour services using 360 photography, but also combined using traditional 2D photography and video links from inside the tour. This immersive virtual tour, in 3D / 360 space, was created for the University of Southern Indiana, in a fun collaboration with their internal media department and The Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness.

The Minka learning lab for living well, as it’s called, is on the campus at USI. It’s purpose is to “offer an interdisciplinary focus to involve students, faculty and campus stakeholders in research, healthcare leadership development, and simulations that address challenges for living-in-place and open health profession career opportunities”. As you’ll see, part of the tour actually involves exterior settings of this “tiny home”. I invite you to try it out, literally take a stroll around to learn more – it might even be beneficial to those of you caring for elderly parents or nearing retirement age yourself. I think you’ll find the immersive experience truly amazing – and the technology a great teaching tool!

You can learn more about our 3D / 360° virtual tours and how to combine this type of virtual reality with our video, photography and aerial drone services here.
