The goal of this promotion was to produce a very short video (less than 45 seconds) that VenuWorks could show at out-of-town tourism meetings to try and attract events to the Ford Center. (VenuWorks manages the Ford Center) For those of us who live in Southern Indiana, we likely already know and love the hospitality and great accommodations inside Evansville’s downtown stadium. But how to possibly attract more concerts and corporate events to our area and to this great venue? See what you think…
I hope this fast paced video grabbed your attention. Think of it as a visual introduction to the arena for use to kick off in-person meetings and send to potential renters!
The hard part for this video production was in the post process and editing portion, essentially attempting to keep it short, since I shot lots of wonderful footage from many different concerts & events over a month. With so many angles and shots to choose from, I had to choose only the shots that I thought helped tell (and sell !) the Ford Center “story”. And while I think the script turned out really well for this project, it’s very minimal, allowing the visuals to drive home the concept behind the copy.
