A Video That’s An Invitation
Is it possible to get serious business professionals to behave and perform like silly kids in front of a camera to create a fun video? Well, that would be something to see, wouldn’t it? That’s not what this video is or was intended to be. But I thought I might grab your attention a little more by beginning that way. 😉 (but perhaps maybe the next time around for the next video??)
I was very proud to recently help cMoe produce a video “invitation” for them to use for their first “Ignite It” creativity forum. While a video invitation is somewhat new territory for me, I felt it was a perfect way to get someone’s attention before giving them the details on the creative luncheon. For those reading who don’t know about the wonderful Children’s Museum of Evansville, be sure to visit or check out their web site for more information. I’m happy to report that the forum, held on March 11th in downtown Evansville, had a great attendance and was a success. And I am writing this post after the fact. But if I still have your attention and you want to watch professional folks give of their time & talents for a good cause, then please enjoy this video.
The video was shot over the course of just a few hours, all on-site at cMoe, rather quickly to be candid. What I like to call run and gun video production. Special thanks to all who participated and for board member Patricia, volunteer Lisa and employee Linzee for their help in everything from writing the “script”, to assisting me with my lighting equipment and wrangling children into other areas while we were filming. I certainly had fun working on this one!
